MARIENHOLM PENINSULA RESIDENTIAL QUARTER

Stage I construction underway

VISION FOR THE
QUARTER

UNIQUE
LOCATION

Haapsalu is the oldest and many would say also the most beautiful resort town in all of Estonia. Its excellent location, fairy-tale-like atmosphere, welcoming summer events and relaxed pace of life have made Haapsalu the enjoyable smaller sibling to Estonia’s summer capital Pärnu.

Lovely cafés, the seafront, the iconic Kuursaal, sports facilities and tempting shopping opportunities are all waiting just a short walk or bike ride from Marienholm.

Residential
quarter

A residential quarter with architecture characteristic of villas. Delight in the wonderful harmony of wood, glass and light. Designed for tranquility and freshness of mind. Just 30 metres from the sea. Spectacular views of the lagoon.

Free
time

Whether you’re visiting from near or far, take your time to stroll along the winding seafront, relax in private rest areas and enjoy the abundant greenery. Berths, cafes and (maritime) sports facilities add variety to the landscape.

SPA
hotel

Haapsalu has been waiting for an elegant new SPA hotel for some time now. Somewhere you can relax to the sound of the waves, take in panoramic views of the surrounding area and indulge in stimulating culinary masterpieces. Somewhere you can experience first hand what Haapsalu’s resort charm is all about.

SYMBIOSIS
OF TOP CREATORS

The most unique region of Estonia does not happen by itself. It is formed through the orchestrated efforts of architects. It all started with Scandium and space design agency WhatIF, headed by Juhan Kangilaski and Maria Freimann. The architectural vision was conceived by one of the most successful architects in Estonia, 3+1 architects. Awarded landscape architects from TajuRuum helped shape the landscape of the area. The brilliant minds at KAMP Architects endeavours to ensure the interior design is nothing short of perfect.

ARCHITECTURE

3+1 architects take a user-centric approach, meaning that they focus on the needs and expectations of the individual. The key is to create visions of the future here and now. To dream of something that we have yet to discover. This vision is also befitting of Marienholm. A wonderful new living and holiday neighbourhood in idyllic Haapsalu, featuring a grand vision never seen before. A fantasy of something you didn’t even know you wanted. Ilmar Valdur, Gert Guriev and Lisette Eriste work to make this dream a reality in Marienholm.

LANDSCAPE
ARCHITECTURE

The landscape architects at TajuRuum see “eco” as the new beautiful. A biologically diverse environment has a healing effect. It’s all about beautiful design and timeless solutions. About exceeding expectations – this is the vision of TajuRuum as well as the entire Marienholm project. The projects designed and executed by TajuRuum have received the Estonian Landscape Architects Union’s annual award on numerous occasions, as well as the Cultural Endowment of Estonia’s national prize in the field of architecture. The authors of the Marienholm project are Margit Prükk, Laura Männamaa and Edgar Kaare.

INTERIOR
ARCHITECTURE

KAMP Architects has designed countless beautiful spaces and buildings in Estonia and abroad, even as far afield as Asia. They keep sharp by taking part in architectural competitions and have a number of prized works to show for their work over the past 18 years – Pärnu beach stadium, NOA Restaurant, marina building at Haven Kakumäe. Marienholm’s team includes Jan Skolimowski and Jaanus Saarepera.
