The Kopli urban region is surrounded by three bays: Kopli Bay, Paljassaare Bay and Tallinn Bay. Some of the apartments in the Marati Quarter as well as the rooftop gardens overlook the sea.
The area is dotted with lush greenery and parks, offering plenty of opportunities for rejuvenating breaks, birdwatching or recreational sports. Kopli hill offers some of the most beautiful views of Tallinn’s majestic spires and the bay.

The Kopli peninsula is fully connected to the city centre. You can get into the city by car, tram or bike in just 15–20 minutes. The new seafront and nature trails of the Kopli Lines are within cycling distance.
The Kopli Kultuurikoda (cultural centre) has been revived, with a community garden in the courtyard where local residents can come together. Cafés and meeting places create a space for social interaction and the garden is the perfect place to grow flowers and root vegetables together.
The area is seeing a growing number of restaurants, galleries and venues. Furthermore, it’s possible to get an education from primary school to a doctorate without ever setting foot outside this urban region.

Parks in the area boast impressive tall vegetation. The trees that tower there echo with birdsong in spring. A total of 41 bird species have been observed in these parks!
